Traditiegetrouw organiseert Galerie Nouvelles Images gedurende de zomermaanden een speciale thematentoonstelling. Dit jaar heeft Jasper de Beijer de tentoonstelling ‘Viewmasters’ samengesteld. Hij heeft hiervoor kunstenaars geselecteerd die zich bezighouden met het ‘werkelijkheidsgehalte’ van fotografie; van fotografie waarin sprake is van een betrouwbare referentie of waarin alles is gemanipuleerd.
De Beijer heeft van de acht deelnemende fotografen vier koppels gemaakt. Ieder koppel vormt een combinatie van documentaire fotografie en geënsceneerde fotografie (CGI: Computer-generated imagery, schaalmodellen en sets).
